It has started and officially made it's appearance.
My daughter has started seeking out stuff with which she can make a mess of, in the house. Just this morning as I left her in her room to play while I prepared her breakfast, I came back to find an empty baby's room. A quick search found her in the opposite study room, happily unravelling a roll of raffia string all around her. She was evidently happy, and me? Maybe I'll just get hubby to help clean it up :p.
Yesterday was my dad's birthday and breaking out from the usual family practice, we went out for dinner cos he's 55! Anyway, we all went to Simpang Bedok (cos the choice is extensive enough to cater to even Haziq's limited food preferences), Haqeem included. The Everton - Man U match was on and as hubby and sis were fans of the teams respectively, there were a few jibes and taunts, especially when Man U came from behind to kick Everton's behind with a score of 4-2! Poor hubby..he was crushed and could not talk of anything else other than the disappointing defeat when we're heading home until the time that he slept.
But all in all, the family had fun. The atmosphere was good and the food was great. Even Humaira stuffed her face while in her high chair. We ate chilli crab, rojak, fish and chips, fried rice (kampung&pattaya style), steak, kebab, chicken rice, satay, and mak ordered 2 drinks for herself even before we started eating. you could say we were stuffed like Thanksgiving turkeys by the time we were done. Haziq made us proud by ordering (and eating) the fish & chips. Way to go! Next birthday is Ruzai's! That's coming up on June 23rd.
