A Taste of Your Own Medicine

It amazes me how someone would love to nag (or some call it 'advice' or 'feedback')so often. Instead of returning the 'favour', I am one who choses to forgo the act and take a more don't care attitude towards life.

But something happened tonight. The bike died because someone left the key in it and left the headlight on. So it caused some inconveniences because of transportation and not unlikely of me..I didn't nag. BUT I was asked to, to ensure the person did not make the same mistake again. Is it a case of tasting your own medicine if you ask for it? Hmm..

Nevertheless, it was very funny and I was laughing when I said it, but truth be told, I still don't see the point of it. Why must we do it at all? I guess my take is that we are adults and we learn from our own mistakes, just like we have done for years. Some lessons take longer for us to grasp but eventually, we all do. We just have to have a little patience and a lot of love. Something easy to say, but not easy to do. I hope I remember this when my babies enter their teenage years.

On the subject of taking medicine, Humaira has been taking her medicine regularly for the past week cos the baby is sick with flu and fever. Hope you get well soon, my little dear. XOXO, Mum.

she's sick? poor girl! at least she's a good girl to take her medicine.

mebe cos the mum didn't nag and gave her the soft approach, that's why baby hu took her medicine?

not sure if the soft approach would work when she reaches her teens though...
