It's me.
Have you missed me?
I'm so sorry for being gone so long. You turned my life upside down and it's taking a while to get back on track.
My camera is spoilt and I may never post pictures here again unless:
hubby gets to getting it repaired at the centre
or
we buy a new camera
or
i finally learn how to transfer pictures from my phone to the computer
So, that's how it is.
This is also my third week in school. The students are monsters!
I have never seen such badly behaved children all in one place. However, there's something you should know about children.
They are amazing. Yes, sometimes they are devils in disguise but I believe they are intrinsically good. They have their moments where their better side shines.
Now, don't think that I'm going to be an angel to them and saying, "Oh, you poor dear." But it pays to get your mind in perspective.
I just need to figure out now how to get the class ship-shape for learning. An easy enough job?
I don't know..you tell me.
(Btw, can someone stop them from singing "ella...ella..ella",please?)
Good stuff happened too! Hubby and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary..alhamdullilah.
And other stuff happened which I wasn't aware of (harlow girls??), such as:
Pauline got her baby safely into the world. Congrats to the new mummy and daddy! and
Kev going to greener pastures..hmm.
Things I have learnt:
To be more patient....NOT!
To juggle with the new schedule of sending humaira to MIL's at 6.15 am (yes,i'm driving at an ungodly hour so please watch out) and fetching her at 2pm and spending the rest of the day with her. And oh, on Fridays I end at 12.30pm.
Ain't the timing great?! Maybe cos I'm still new though.
Yes, I guess that's about it. Thanks to those who pestered me for updates. It's nice to know that you care.
And I miss you, people at North East! Til we meet again.

it took a long time coming but it's so nice to read you here again. it's even nicer to know things are going well for you.
as for the kids, just remember: what can't kill you will make you stronger...
and here's a tactic one of my teacher friend tired - set up a camcorder at the front of the class and start recording the students while you teach.
let's see what interesting results you achieve...
thanks..kill me? i think the might just. or maybe scratch my car..
Ella...Ella...Ella...Its so funny that they keep singing that! Vanessa
Yes it is..I have to keep a straight face though; sometimes i have to hide my face behind paper :)
