Celebrating the Coming of Autumn

Made pumpkin bread yeasterday (oh boy..i crack myself up) using some leftover pumpkin I had in the fridge. Plus, we were out of bread.

The recipe that I found online seemed fairly simple and can be found here.
The good thing was, I had all the ingredients except a few spices that I went to get from the shops. I also subsituted the chopped walnuts for the pecans that were in my Post cereal.


All in all, I found the recipe tres easy and the result? Simply delish. It was baked just in time for tea and we ate it while it was still warm, with butter.

Mmm..there's just something about making bread that feels so wholesome and lovely.


p.s. my hair was not cut yesterday as hubby is still engrossed with his newly acquired FM 2008.
