Who would have thought?
Hady Mirza as the 1st Asian Idol. It is a proud one for Singaporeans but at the same time, let's face it..did we really think he would win? I mean, he was sharing the stage with the soulful voice from Indo's Mike and the powerful one from Phil's Mau.
Hubby and I who comtemplated even sending a vote finally sent one vote. One for Hady to support our fellow Singaporean and one for Vy from Vietnam. Anyway, Vy is very sweet and looks pretty good beside Hady, no?
I wish they'd shown the reaction of the judges though. I'm sure many of their jaws dropped to the ground..hehe.
