Splish, splash, I was taking a bath.

The one day that I had my childcare leave, we took the kiddos plus Hakeem to the swimming complex at Sengkang. None of us had been there before and at first sight, I thought, "wooow.."

It looks like a mini Wild Wild Wet (minus the lazy river) but a low cost of $1.60 per adult and $0.80 per child, who's complaining? In fact, I happen to think that it's worth my buckaroos to come here than any other swimming place in sg.

Whilst the kiddos enjoyed the pool playground, hubby and I took turns with Hakeem riding the adult slides which were don't-know-how-many-storeys-tall. A bit of background here. Ever since I got the 'mommy' title, mortality has never seem so close and so fragile. I'm not sure if that's because of the increase in age or in the fact that I produced and have living beings to take care of. As a result, I cry when I take a children's coaster and other slightly bigger rides just make me tingle and scream,''Mama.....".

So it was not easy for me to take this ride which will lend me to be plunged into water at the end of it. But I started small and gradually went up to the biggest one which Hakeem was not able to ride because you need to be over 10 years old. Hubby and I took that one..twice.

Predictably, the snack shop does jack up its price on all items especially their snacks but their kaya toast was good with a cuppa of hot tea after the swim. I'll definitely will bring my family here again.
