Contrary to my expectations, the PH yesterday was one of the most enjoyable days yet this year. We came, we saw and we conquered a nice cool spot just past Burger King. There were lots of food and the company was great. And to top it all off, my lil angel was on her best behaviour. She was so bright and cheery that it made the skies look gray.
And a little gray it was, at about 1 pm. The winds were strong and we retreated to the nearby arcade for some fun. When the winds died down, we again spread our beach mats and ate, and talked and the babe played in the sand, with some young uns’ sitting near us.
Hubby fetched us at 6pm, and we went for dinner at Swensen’s Parkway Parade. I was ogling at all the things just crying out to be bought but only managed to grab a pair of pants and some of the babe’s stuff before making our way back.
Highlight of the day: The little one stood on her own! She’s quite strong now and she made me a very proud parent. Won’t be long now that we’ll be chasing her little tush around. Well done Humaira!
