Ramadhan Mubarak

Mere hours left to the fasting month and I must say that this is the first time that I'm feeling anxious about it since the past few years. Usually, I'm so excited and will be mentally ready and will put up stuff like posters at my desk in the workplace. But this year, I just feel so unprepared.

Mostly because this is the first time that I will fasting while pregnant. People tell me that it's no big deal. Anyway, many have done it. My mum, my cousins, sis-in-laws. I'm praying that with the right 'niat', I too will join these women. Hoping for the best.

InsyaAllah you can.. one tip to share which worked for me when I was pregnant with Danyaal: - Eat about 5-6 dates with a glass of warm milk for sahur. That gave me a lot of energy to last for the day. Try it : )

Thanks for the vote of confidence! It's the fifth day now and Alhamdullillah, I'm doing good despite a cough that threatens to burst my lungs out! :)
