Tearful
Tomorrow will be a momentous occasion for us. The girl will be attending her first day of school! Ok, so it's not so much school than a childcare centre. But still, why is this heart beating so wildly?
I guess that this will be the first that she will be left for HOURS with strangers. I keep thinking how abandoned she will feel when she looks for a familiar face in the crowd and can't find a single one. And too bad that I can't pick her up from school earlier due to the nature of my job. And neither can her daddy up until 2 pm.
How do I explain to her why she's there? Even when I know that she will benefit from the education, it doesn't remove the lump that I have in my throat.
